Additional equipment

The Fairline Targa 37 is a combination of high-performance verve and utter practicality. Capable of high speeds if you floor the throttle, yet with overnight accommodation for up to six people the 37 is a versatile open-cockpit express cruiser.

With head sea and soft-riding characteristics, the modified deep-vee hull, with its beam of almost 12-feet, accepts the full range of outdrives currently available. The 37’s radical curvilinear superstructure lines incorporate a curved windscreen and swept back radar arch.

The foredeck is sculpted to receive a sunbed, and substantial guard rails make working the decks both safe and easy. The clean lines of her transom include extensive, cleverly concealed stowage space, and an extended bathing platform makes side boarding easier.

The overall cockpit canopy gives complete protection from the elements and the forward section forms a sun canopy sheltering the helm position and bridge deck seating. The aft dining area converts to a full-size sun bed with a wet bar and drinks cooler alongside.

Below, the spacious interior provides accommodation for four people in two separate cabins and the saloon settee converts to an additional double bed. The owner’s cabin forward has a large, centrally positioned double bed and private access to the spacious toilet with its separate circular shower. The L-shaped galley is conveniently tucked in under the companionway, next to the twin-bedded guest cabin. The galley is equipped with oven, two-burner hob (both with FFD), three-cu.-ft., 240-v – 12-v refrigerator and a double waste bin. The cocktail bar is located under the forward end of the saloon settee.
